What’s Included

  • Frequency separationTone and texture handled on separate layers, so uneven skin is softened without losing its grain.

The workflow

  1. Send the gallery selects

    Upload the frames the client will receive, at the highest resolution you have, through the portal or a shared link.

  2. Note what the client cares about

    Reference photos and written instructions tell us what to keep, such as freckles or laughter lines, as well as what to remove.

  3. Face, clothing and colour

    Skin and under-eye cleanup, teeth and eyes, clothing wrinkles and backdrop marks, then colour, exposure and contrast.

  4. Quality check and delivery

    Each frame is checked before the gallery goes back. The delivery time for Standard Retouching is 24 hours.

Frequently asked

  • Will clients be able to tell the photos were retouched?

    The aim is that they cannot point to an edit. Skin keeps its texture, and teeth and eyes get a restrained lift rather than an obvious one.

  • How much background work is included?

    Minor cleanup: marks, dust, scuffs and small distractions. Removing larger objects or rebuilding a complex background needs an add-on or a custom quote.

  • Should I choose Standard or Beauty Retouching?

    Standard suits portrait, family, lifestyle and branding galleries. Beauty Retouching, at $5 per image, is for frames where the skin is the subject: it adds dodge and burn, flyaway correction and eye enhancement, and includes one revision.
