Project overview
The armchair is the wrong shape and the wrong material for the idea, and it sits directly under the model, so it cannot simply be painted over. The seated pose, though, is exactly what a throne needs.
Transformation details
The throne was constructed around the existing posture, so the arms and back stay where they were photographed.
The cavern was built with its brightest area behind the head, which separates the figure without a rim light that was never shot.
Two white tigers were placed at the base at matching scale and lit by the same cool key.
The grade takes the frame cold while holding a warm point in the skin, so the model does not disappear into the ice.
