Sculptural Triptych Portrait Set
Creative composite
A portrait at a white table against a tan wall becomes three sculptural busts on stands and red plinths, each one scaled and lit as its own object.

Project overview
The source is one seated portrait in a pearl collar, and the idea needs three subjects at different heights. A photograph repeated three times looks like a copy unless each version is scaled and lit as a separate object.
Transformation details
The three positions were fixed first, one raised in the centre and two lower on either side, so the composition existed before any bust was built.
Each version was scaled and lit on its own: the raised bust carries the strongest light and the flanking pair fall off with distance.
The plinths and stands were built as one set with a shared floor and shared shadows, which turns three copies into one scene.
A single deep red runs through the whole set so the three busts belong to one family.
