Project overview

The spotlight on the backdrop is hot in the centre, and both the black velvet chair and the sheer black outfit lose their shape in the shadows. The ring of roses at the bottom of the frame has to keep its red against a pale floor.

Transformation details

The spotlight was brought down toward its centre so it stops clipping, keeping its soft edge.
The roses were corrected to hold their red, which gives the bottom of the frame its weight.
The chair was opened up in the shadows enough to show its form against the backdrop.
Skin was evened and the sheer garment's transparency kept.
