Project overview

The wall's texture is the reason it was used, so it cannot be cloned flat. The frame also has a dark strip along the bottom edge and marks on the wall and floor that need to go.

Transformation details

Repairs were made with texture sampled from elsewhere on the same wall, so the grain carries through every patch.
The dark strip at the bottom was replaced with matching floor rather than blurred.
The stool and the basket were cleaned and their own texture kept.
The strong side light was left alone, since it is what brings out the wall's texture in the first place, and the skin was simply evened.
